Timothee Chalamet and Steve Carell at the Beautiful Boy LFF premiere

Tonight the stars of Beautiful Boy hit London’s Leicester Square for its London Film Festival premiere – and I have all the pics of Timothee Chalamet and Steve Carell right here.

I know Timothee had a lot of fans but I didn’t realise quite how many. The crowd was huge and they screamed like crazy when he turned up. I haven’t heard screams like that at a premiere in ages, especially for an actor who is basically a newcomer (albeit an Oscar-nominated one). Since his breakthrough in 2017, he has clearly become used to the fandom because it didn’t overwhelm him at all and he seemed to enjoy it. He did a little press but mainly focussed on the fans. He spent ages with them, properly interacting with them and everything. What a nice guy.

While Timothee was sending fans wild and receiving a ridiculous amount of gifts (see gallery below), I got to speak to Steve. He was so nice and articulate (here’s the interview) and he went on to sign for some fans at the end.
